  The only reason we came back was for the spicy chicken wings that we had last year - a rich, sticky, spicy tower of goodness... but they weren't on the menu. Instead they have been replaced with a crumbed, fried 'chicken ribs' dish which was flavourless, floury and had very little meat. We have since learnt that some people were complaining the spicy wings were too spicy... how ridiculous. The kitchen obviously listened which is a real travesty. The beer is below average, as is the cider which was flat and bland. Wine not great either (and they'd run out of Chardonnay... but they're attached to a winery - go figure). There were two guys playing music, if you could call it that - the best part was when they had a break and stopped playing. 8 months ago I would have given 5 stars for the wings alone. Now I feel even 1 star is generous. We won't be back until you #bringbackthewings

  Food is offered at premium prices, but unfortunately falls short of being good enough to distract you from the cost. Our 3 mains were ordered at the same time but arrived spread out over a 45 minutes period, which would have been fine if our goal was to take turns watching each other eat. Drinks we're priced fairly and the wait in line for a beer at lunch time was refreshingly a fraction of the time taken in line to order food. With so many similar venues within a few kilometres it would take some convincing to lure me back for a second time.

  Ok food. Great building. Good selection of beers. Pale ale was good. Pear cider was enjoyed. Lemon lime bitters was more like lemonade. Salad could use a touch more dressing.
